Quilter’s Paradise

Hi my name is Julie Gutierrez. I live in Northern California with my husband Tom and our children.   Quilter's Paradise is a family owned business, everyone has a job to do. I do the quilting and the creative side of the business, but the rest of the family helps by doing other important jobs. 

 

 

I have not been quilting a very long time, but I have a tremendous amount of experience in a short time. 

 

 

Quilting since 2004, I have quilted  over 1500 quilts during that time. I left my job in 2005 to pursue a career in quilting. Someone once told me, if you don't ever want to work, find something that you love to do and do it. So, I did. It has never been work to me. I Love to Quilt, and am told by my customers, family, friends and peers that I am good at it. 

 

 

I quilt most every day, on my Nolting Longarm Quilting Machine.  Although my passion is quilting my love of my longarm machine has involved me in a new venture.  I am on the road traveling to lots of quilt shows.  I  have been a Nolting longarm dealer since 2006.  I love it.  I love meeting all the quilters and vendors and seeing the countryside of America.  Although at times it can be quite tiring, it is still more fun than being stuck within the four walls of the studio.  The Studio is great but not 24/7.  I have to be out where the people are.  So, check my show schedule, and come by and visit.
